I am honored and privileged to serve as the President of the Pasadena Guild of Children's Hospital Los Angeles. In 1947, the Guild began a rich and collaborative history with CHLA. Since then, the Guild has raised more than forty-six million dollars for the Hospital, successfully completing nine endowments and two capital campaign projects. With our support the Hospital has grown from a 14-bed facility in a small two-story home in Los Angeles to one of the world’s preeminent pediatric academic medical centers.

The Guild is currently funding the Pasadena Guild's Chair in Clinical Immunology and Allergy.  The inaugural Chair holder is Dr. Ronald Ferdman, Chief of the Division of Clinical Immunology and Allergy at CHLA.  The Guild is honored to be able to support Dr. Ferdman and the innovative treatment, research, education and outreach this important Division oversees in the care of children with allergic disease, asthma, primary immune deficiency disorders and more.

As I look forward to the coming year - a year when the Hospital will celebrate its 125^th anniversary - I am grateful to work with the talented and dedicated women of the Guild. We are inspired by the knowledge that we play a part in the miracles performed every day at CHLA and we are excited to continue to support CHLA in its mission to create hope and build healthier futures for the children of Los Angeles and around the world.
